Piano Music Shaped for the Ballet Studio
Nina Miller
Nina Miller is an internationally recognized ballet pianist whose music is used in thousands of ballet classes around the world each week. With more than 22 studio albums in distribution, her music fits each exercise in a familiar and predictable way, allowing dance instructors to use it confidently in class.
Trained at the highest level, Nina studied at the Modest Mussorgsky Music College and the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in St Petersburg, and has performed internationally across Europe, Russia, Japan, and the United States.
Over time, her focus has become ballet, having the role of Concert Master Accompanist at the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia from 1996–2000. She now writes and arranges with the studio in mind, drawing on both well-known and lesser-known classics. Each piece is shaped by clear meter and reliable phrasing, allowing the music to support movement and teaching without distraction.
Since 2005, Nina has been the in-studio pianist for the Colorado Ballet Society and has been voted Colorado Springs’ Best Pianist by The Gazette from 2016–2022. She is committed to writing music that teachers and dancers can rely on, without losing its musical integrity.
